My wife is an early intervention teacher with Wake County. She deserves all the money she can get with what she has to deal with every day, and most of the time not from the kids she helps, but from other teachers, administration, and parents. My son is in a ID Mild class (special ED) and he has an amazing group of teachers. They work so hard with these kids. They put in all kinds of hours and really love the children. They're (all teachers) are doing one of the most important things in our society. I'm not sure why there's not more outrage about this.
