Once kids come along, just be prepared to get sick along with them. I rarely ever got sick before my little one arrived. They say you should expect your child to experience 6-10 colds per year, so figure you'll get some of that plus whatever nasty viruses they pass on.

Was thinking about going running around the tidal basin after work. Left my Metro pass in my car. Have my wifes today. FML

I have like 12 of them I could ship you one. Or just spend 2 for a new one. ;)

F that.  They screwed me last time.  Went into the Greenbelt station, forgot my jacket, went back out to get it.  They charge  you $2.75 for that? That's some BS.

I haven't had much trouble finding a parking space on Ohio Dr. recently either on the weekend or after work. And most traffic is leaving town, so I doubt it would take much longer driving down vs metro. They might have Ohio Dr. set up for one way traffic heading from Potomac Park towards the Lincoln, so you'd need to access Ohio via Maine Ave off of Independence or the 395 exit for Potomac Park.

Plus your reward is the Tidal Basin with 100 zillion people. Bleh.  I'm trying to stay away for as long as possible though have to go once I suppose.

Blossoms are def good to go. Peak is 70% and its peak now. At 6am, you'll just have the photogs and not the casual strollers. There were a hundred or so at quarter til 6 last Saturday and this Saturday will be much more crowded. This evening, it was nuts. Thousands and thousands of people. Love this guy just chillin' while the craziness goes on around him.

True, but we're likely better off playing the Pacers in round 1, so the loss last night may not end up being a bad thing. ;) I'd certainly rather play than Indiana than Toronto.

At this rate if the Pacers beat the Heat tomorrow night we will likely play the Heat in the first round. Can you say sweep. There is no way in hell i would rather play Indiana over Toronto.

I know it sounds crazy ;) But look at this way:

Since March 1st the Pacers are 10-12. In that span, they've lost to Cleveland by 14, the Bobcats by 22, the Knicks, the Hawks by 19, even the Wizards by 13. They aren't just merely losing, they are getting crushed by some awful teams. They only managed to put up 23 points in the first half against Atlanta. They are in complete freefall mode.

In that same time Toronto is 14-6 with wins over Golden State, Houston, Indiana, and Memphis, and they only lost to OKC by 1.

I guess Indiana could always revert back to their form from last season/beginning of this year, but for now, I'd rather play them. I'm a complete homer haha :) but I think we'd beat the Pacers in a best of 7 IF the Pacers play the way they have been playing over the past month and a half. ;)
