I would probably trade at least 2 of my 4 kids for the dog. I'm pretty fond of my son though. I'd have to flip a coin or something there.
Bob Chill
What if I don't have a dog? Can I trade a baby in for a dog? Heck, you can sell the baby for 5-10 large and go on a purebred spending spree

arlwx
On Mar 31, there was one lone cherry tree trying to blossom at Hains Point. Time to see if any more have joined it.Eyeball report: the number of starting-to-flower cherry trees (about 20-50) about equaled the number of tour buses at 10 am. mattie g
I want to garden! But what's the point of getting new stuff with frosts threatened during next week? There are plenty if things that can withstand a hard freeze. Hell...I have 6-8 spinach plants that came through this winter unscathed and have really taken off in the last 10 days. WxUSAF
Heard that dozens of loyal Nats fans showed up for the pre-game team festivities for Opening Day. What time does the wealthy DC political insider crowd arrive once they've left their ties in the car, unbuttoned the top button of their $200 button-down shirt and don that sparkling clean Nats hat they wear twice per year? snowfan
And sit in their $350/seat Lexus seats while eating filet mignon and crab cakes? Ha - I've sat in the club section enough at OPACY, so I can't give them a hard time. And us O's fans can't really give anyone a hard time about attendance. Two days after opening day and we were under 30k for a game with the Red Sox. Heard that dozens of loyal Nats fans showed up for the pre-game team festivities for Opening Day. mattie g
Yeah, it filled up some it looks like, but still not full at gametime. You can hardly give away a free ticket to Nationals games after about the first month of the season (or less). Not much different than to a lot of baseball games in other cities over the course of the season.
