Eskimo Joe
JamieO is knee deep in his garden. Can't say where Voyager is, but I'm still around if that's any consolation.
pawatch
Guys a quick OT does anyone know what happened to Jamie? I kinda miss having our Port Matilda update guy!! Gee Jamie missing....enjoyed his posts, Zac moved... hope he still visits and Voyager probably is on the back 9 at the golf course. Been pretty active with these thunderstorms popping up. Most of them dumping anywhere from 0.50 to 0.75' of rain. This picture was down around Lycoming Mall last week.
Eskimo Joe
SPC upgrades everyone north and west of Harrisburg to a MOD Risk and a 45% wind risk. Pretty strongly worded Blue Box just went out too: http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/watch/ww0403.html I'd love for the harrisburg area to get in on the action today but we're looking at a few cars tonight and that could be messy if it did happen

Santa Clause
Things look active this afternoon plenty of instability, best shear is north of most of us but still should be an interesting afternoon. Hopefully that MCS can pick it up a little and make a nice event throughout CPA.

Eskimo Joe
This is a legit squall line...if it can survive the next two mountains Harrisburg Metro (include Lancaster and York and Gettysburg) could get smacked pretty good.

MAG5035
Yea man, actually this MOD RISK is about to bust big time. Only SWS out for that line. Def doesn't look like the moderate risk is going to bust, but it does appear that it probably could've been centered further east in PA as the storms took awhile to consolidate in western PA. Not much more than heavy wind driven rain from them here. This line has really came to life east of here though, and velocities on radar are very impressive today with the strong winds aloft. The storm that just passed north of Williamsport/Garden View had velocities over 70 knots. The section of the line about to hit Lewisburg has velocites around 60-65 knots with it. MAG5035
Anyone in the Harrisburg metro needs to pay attention to this!!!!!! Definitely, and the storms are approaching very rapidly. This section of the line is probably moving faster than the speed limit on the turnpike.
