BWI, at least, has had two Traces of snow fall in May- 5/1/1963 and 5/9/1923. This was supposedly actual snow and not hail from thunderstorms. WEATHER53 Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 I think we have to be careful about Friday. Forecast now are highs upper 50's. I've seen it before in April, high moves off Maine instead of mid atlantic and when the breezes are easterly and 10mph+ then we oftern bust on the highs by 10-15 degrees.
