wxeyeNH
I'm not concerned with wind, never that strong to the west of the path. Rain and flash flooding will be the big story with the stalled front. I bet we see some 5" plus rain.

dan11295
No question it has been trending west. Am really surprised about the west trend farther north. Generally its wagons east with TC's off of NE. Models just all too quick with the front?

ackwaves
Anyone want to explain why the west trend? Is it quicker forward speed so the front hasn't had a chance to kick it east, or is it the trough digging a little deeper? Just curious.

CoastalWx
It's a bit quicker which may be part of It. However I still would not be surprised if the 00z early cycle corrected a bit to the SE.

CoastalWx
Any thoughts on probable locations for ultra-flood banding? Just depends where it sets up. It could be something like one band sets up into RI and maybe ectrl MA and then the uber stuff over SE MA and the Cape. Of course 25 miles means anything. You can't rule out a track just inside the BM either.

Clinch Leatherwood
This is an awesome storm for early July. We're pretty lucky it's skipping east....I'm kind of amazed we're seeing something make a run at us this early.

It just happens to be a homebrew storm that allows for a close pass.
