Clinch Leatherwood
Wait until this thing hits the gulf stream..... It's probably going to be windier today than it is from Arthur with gusts approaching 30 here now. Hype FTL.
40/70 Benchmark
Wait until this thing hits the gulf stream..... It's probably going to be windier today than it is from Arthur with gusts approaching 30 here now. Hype FTL. I never raised an eyebrow. The GF was all up in arms that our trip to Lake Osippee would be compromised, and I countered that I think we'd be safe here, nevermind the mountains. Cute little storm, but just another in a long, long line of "hook" conformists....par for the course.

hurricaneman
I wouldnt be surprised if in the next advisory or 2 they put TS watches or warnings out for SE New England especially if the models come west even more but honestly am not ready to say hurricane watches unless the recurve is later than modeled

ackwaves
I would keep an eye on it. Could be some pretty gusty winds and rain. Yeah. I'm thinking no more than 55mph in gusts. You? My boats are good until it starts getting over 60-70. As far as rain. We almost always get dry air from the NW side of fish spinners. The heavier stuff somehow always sets up to our NW. Well yeah agree about wind, just that it sounded like you maybe thought just a bit of a breeze lol. I know you guys are used to getting rocked. I also think you get into heavy rain. CoastalWx
Some of the early guidance came a tick NW again. It'll be interesting to see what the 00z stuff does. I kind of expected more of a NBD thing, but it could be rather interesting on the Cape and perhaps parts of SE MA.
