Yep, there have been several days like that so far this Spring, some prime examples of warm fronts hanging up just south or near the southern flank of the Lakes. Needless to say a pattern change would be nice. It's incredible to look around and still see no leaves on the trees. Budding really only began in earnest about a week ago. cyclone77 Posted April 30, 2014 Share Posted April 30, 2014 Only made it to 48 today lol. Rain held off, but had overcast all day. Leaves are popping here, but they're still very small. Lots of flowering trees out in full force though. The leaves down in southern/southwest Missouri were almost fully grown, and it looked pretty summery down there. It the hill behind my work. I had to arrive to work in pouring rain. As much as I love being out in falling snow, I hate being out in falling rain. Total rainfall Apr 28-30 here was 1.27".
