Take control of your yard.

CoastalWx
You gotta use some sort of fertilizer in the garden...just don't spray any chemicals or pesticide/insecticide on the plant.

CT Rain
Just as I left my driveway this morning, I see two rabbits looking at me....probably laughing. The rabbits are crazy this year. I've got an entire family living in my yard. They drive the dog nuts.
CoastalWx
The rabbits are crazy this year. I've got an entire family living in my yard. They drive the dog nuts. They dig holes and leave craters. Bryce already fell into a few of those holes. They must die.
Cold Miser
Then don't complain about your yard being torn up by animals and looking hideous I have to be selective about chemical agents that I use next to my well, regardless if I wanted a neon green lawn or not. I will throw some grubex down though. They advertise the grubex as if it can be used any time during the spring, but I really don't like putting it down until later, when the young grubs are coming up. AGWAY sells a version that can be applied by a typical rotary or drop spreader. 3 applications per year for 2 years and it is supposed to last for 10 years. Lava Rock
Gonna hit the lawn tonite with Barricade 65. Hoping to kill off any pre-emerginet crabgrass. THey took over our new lawn last year. Just hoping I don't kill too much "good" grass. I noted annual bluegrass can be killed and we've got some of that so we'll see. Hoping for a better looking lawn this summer. Lava Rock
How careful should I be about applying herbicide around our well head? Should I spray up to so many feet away? Our well is 500', so not sure how much if any chemical gets into the water.
