Going to be renting a small excavator over the long weekend next week to dig out some additional parking space and spread some stone. Professional Lurker
Things like that are fun for about the first half hour... Then they get hot, noisy, and uncomfortable. Still, way better than doing it by hand!

moneypitmike
I wanted to get some grass seed down in advance of the coming rain. With the lower 20's progged for Wed night and upper 20's on Thursday night, should I be holding off? Since it would have germinated by that time, I'm hoping I'd be okay, but I don't want to flush the money down the toiled. TIA.

You could plant seed in the fall and it would still germinate in the spring. Cold doesn't do anything to the seed. the heavy rain however might. Hold off till later in the week when the wx is a bit better

CoastalWx
Nice Kevin. We have a plan to rip out and plant heavy heavy plants. This won't all get done this year. In other news, yard is greening up.
ROOSTA
I'm so frustrated. Every year I've tried to improve the landscape not this year. No Spring clean-up, no fertilizer. It needs so much work. Might have to hire someone to even mow the grass. Difficult even taking 5 steps without doubling over need to hold on to something. Being in chronic pain is no fun and I wouldn't wish on anyone. I did get 200 tulip bulbs in the front beds in November right after surgery...Overkill! LOL
