   CONCERNING...TORNADO WATCH 49...

   THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 49 CONTINUES.

   SUMMARY...A NEW TORNADO WATCH WILL BE COORDINATE SOON FOR CENTRAL AR
   AND PARTS OF SRN MO...WHICH INCLUDES REPLACING WW 49 THAT IS
   SCHEDULED TO EXPIRE AT 22Z.

   DISCUSSION...SURFACE HEATING ACROSS AR INTO SRN MO THIS AFTERNOON
   HAS AIDED IN SOME DESTABILIZATION IN THE WAKE OF EARLIER
   CONVECTION...WITH MLCAPE RANGING FROM 1500-2000 J/KG.  IN ADDITION
   TO THE AVAILABLE INSTABILITY...LITTLE ROCK WSR-88D WIND PROFILE
   SHOWED VERTICALLY VEERING WINDS WITH EFFECTIVE BULK SHEAR MORE THAN
   SUFFICIENT TO SUPPORT ORGANIZED STORMS...WHILE 0-3 KM SRH AROUND 300
   M2/S2 SUGGESTS A TORNADO THREAT.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHEASTERN MORGAN...
MILLER AND NORTH CENTRAL CAMDEN COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM CDT...

AT 520 PM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO
WAS LOCATED NEAR OSAGE BEACH...AND MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH.

 

HAZARD...TORNADO AND GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL.

 

SOURCE...RADAR INDICATED ROTATION. THERE HAVE NUMEROUS REPORTS OF 

FUNNEL CLOUDS AND UNCONFIRMED REPORTS OF A TORNADO.

 

IMPACT...FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT
SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED. DAMAGE
TO ROOFS...WINDOWS AND VEHICLES WILL OCCUR. TREE DAMAGE IS
LIKELY.

* AT 547 PM CDT...STORM SPOTTERS AND DOPPLER RADAR OBSERVED A
  DEVELOPING TORNADO 3 MILES SOUTHWEST OF KRUM...MOVING EAST AT 20
  MPH.

 

* THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
  DENTON AROUND 605 PM CDT...
  CORINTH AROUND 615 PM CDT...
  SHADY SHORES AND LAKE DALLAS AROUND 620 PM CDT...
  OAK POINT AROUND 625 PM CDT...
  KRUGERVILLE...CROSS ROADS AND LAKEWOOD VILLAGE AROUND 630 PM CDT...

 

THIS WILL IMPACT I-35E BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 457 AND 466.
