Yea really and once it happens people will be complaining to have 70s again like they always do so enjoy the weather now.

Who complains when it's in the 70s?  That's probably the most comfortable temp for a human being (hence "room temperature").

Their is a pretty big difference between 70 and 79. Like 70 you probably need a light jacket whereas 79 you're sporting shorts and a t-shirt.

No I said people will complain if it's in the upper 80s everyday that they'll wish it was in the 70s like it generally is now.

70s are great, wish they could stay this way all summer.

Maybe you do..if its sunny and 70 I'm easily in shorts

People started stripping off once 50s became the norm, I'm surprised people aren't walking around naked when it's 90 (they probably would if not for the legal issues with that).

Then lets stop calling 90 a heatwave..(ahem winterwarlock)...its really not

people get too caught up in arbitrary categories and terms. the ef scale is a good example. you see outrage!1!!1 when a tornado that completely demolishes neighborhoods is given a rating of ef4 with max winds of 190 mph.

& everything is relative. would you rather be in a well constructed house with a tornado shelter/basement with a violent tornado approaching or a trailer with an ef1 approaching?

You can't be serious.

70-70 rule.

If you're above 70 years of age, you're allowed to wear a jacket if it's 70 degrees or warmer. But any younger than 70 and you are the equivalent of a great grandmother in a shawl.

Unless you live in south Florida where you need a parka when it's 70.
