Freeze Warning now in NYC proper.

I think there's a realistic shot that Central Park will hit freezing or perhaps go just below it. That would be the first April freeze in NYC since April 9, 2007 when the temperature fell to 32°. Even more impressive, it would be the first 32° reading after April 15 since April 17, 1982 when the temperature fell to 32°.

weatherbell snowmaps are BS

My StormVista snow maps show a few inches as well for the Euro. (NW of NYC)

 

The 18z 4k NAM paints an advisory level snowfall in the higher terrain just NW of I-287 tonight.

 

I think the Euro has not been handling things well today at all. It appears to be way too progressive.
