MainePhotog
Snow finally let up! We had awesome snowfall rates between 11 am and 2 pm ~2"-3" per hour. Here on Winnegance Bay, south of Bath, Maine I measured 12.80" total snowfall. Awesome fluff! Saw reports from Brunswick of 11" and 12", and a report from Wiscasett of 13". dendrite
2nd core sample from the storm was 2.7" new from 0.15" w.e., but that was a 10hr sample. Storm total is 5.2" with 0.29" w.e. Now we get to enjoy some true arctic air for 4 days. I just got a look at the 12z EC. All I can say is "wow". lol A 1-3 foot bomb. Too bad it's 5-6 days away. red
Just got done with the initial snow blowing and it was intense. As fast as I cleared a path it was filling right back up. Trying to snow blow in this stuff with a rear mount snow blower really sucks. Measured 15" so far. Heavy snow continues but the flake size has dropped considerably. Took a break at one point by the house and couldn't see the end of the driveway which is about 350ft away. Incredible stuff.

MaineJayhawk
5.2" is my total. Lower than I thought but I'm sure there was settling and/or blowing away going on. But I'm not going to embellish the total with a phantom inch which I've read is a practice for some.
