Rjay
Pretty cool watching this storm come together...and look how painfully close http://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wind/isobaric/1000hPa/orthographic=-74.70,34.98,3000
LongBeachSurfFreak
I was hoping that decent band would pivot into Nassau but it did not. Funny how areas west like Brooklyn at least saw something. Looks like western Suffolk sees a coating with the band that teased eastern Nassau

weatherpruf
Nothing at all in Woodbridge NJ. And that calls it a season. Will check in from time to time but see you all starting in November unless there is a hurricane headed this way, which I kinda doubt and don't want in any case. had a big winter so not expecting another one back to back, that's been my experience. Course there was 9-10 followed by 10-11, but you get the drift. hope the late season south trends don't set up the trend next winter. We'll see. Right now we need some rain. I enjoy reading you all, from Mulen to Forky to Earthlight, Yanksfan, Allsnow, and Snow 88, you folks have kept me informed and entertained for a very long winter. Can't forget William and Unc W either, the only other geezers on board, and the RU PhD from Metuchen, always like his thoughts. And that PB finance guy with his huge estates in Colts Neck and LI:). Maybe he can give me a job when I retire. I may pop on when a nasty T storm is headed my way, cause they scare the crap outta me. Hate lightning. to quote the great Mulen, see ya. What a beast of a storm. The WV loop really shows you how things came together just a hair too late for us.

Juliancolton
I'm actually seeing the occasional renegade flake. It looks like Mohawk-Hudson convergence is starting to occur to my north, and some of the radar returns are actually making it 60 or 70 miles down the Hudson Valley.
