Cold Rain
Friend in Greensboro reports a roaring sound in the sky. Wind? Thoughts? Does he/she live near the airport? My dad lives near PTI and routinely reports a roaring sound in the sky.

NCSNOW
Very heavy snow shower yesterday around suppertime. Covered everything up little over half inch. Still evidence of it on the ground this morning. Just how the winter started back 2cnd week of November. I'd take these kind of winters every year. Enjoyed the pattern. Some folks really cashed in Mt Airy , Greenville NC to name a few.

WxBlue
Agreed, I had a blast yesterday. Even though it was only an inch on ground, we should had 3-5 inches on ground if no melting occurred due to strong sun. I'll take it
Ollie Williams
I'd take these kind of winters every year. Enjoyed the pattern. Some folks really cashed in Mt Airy , Greenville NC to name a few Agreed! Ended up with a total of 5 inches (maybe even 6" due to melting) from yesterdays system. It starting snowing at 6am and didn't let up until after 1pm = 7hrs of pure snow bliss! We've been very lucky this season and it's been the best winter I've ever witnessed! Over 3 ft of snowfall!!
