But did give about an hour or two of partly sunny skies haha. Yeah that's associated with the core of the cold pool aloft. It is in part convective, but it also has some jet mechanics. Several of my friends are already down on ACK for the summer (just working as like restaurant waitstaff or other beach bum jobs) and I know a couple ski patrollers who go down to the Cape and teach kite surfing all summer. Wasn't comfortable telling the kids they would be able to go outside and play, but thankful that we will at least have a little while to get some energy out.
