I'm eligible for my license in like 3 weeks but it probably won't be until June or so until I can actually get it. I have to take the 8-HR drug & alcohol class which is $125 and I've only been out driving twice which pisses me off...so many people said, "don't worry I'll teach you" and blah blah blah...it sucks b/c I just can't go out myself. All I need is a solid few weeks of hard driving and I'll be fine. As for down south once that 500mb jet increases to >80-85 knots as it rounds the base of the trough late tomorrow into Monday that's going to lead to pure hell...overnight tomorrow into Monday could be exceptionally dangerous with the threat for strong tornadoes at night. You have to do it at Triple A and it's an 8-hr class. It's probably just another way for them to get money. I'm going to take the class though once this semester ends and do it over 2 days. I'd assume that's replacing the drivers ed course. I had to take a drivers ed course when I was 16. It was 30 hours classroom time.
