April Discussion..Mild overall..and really not wild

Damage In Tolland

Recommended Posts

Will you be able to get him a met job at WSI once he gets his degree next year? Imagine..you and Wiz..working side by side..analyzing models, sending out METARS, talking severe, sharing clothes..it could be a great partnership

LOL, sending out TAFs you mean? I can't send out randoms obs.

Seriously, that's cool. I hope you go through with it. At the end, I'll pick you up off of your feet and walk you through the threshold of Daisy Buchanan's where we'll rip back beers.

LOL..I'll be a sweaty, smelly mess. The last thing I can think of doing is drinking brews right after a marathon. I see some people go over to the beer tents they have..my stomach just isn't right for a few hours after I'm done..and if i did that 1 of 2 things would happen

1)I would die

2) I would vomit all over everything and everyone

Wouldn't be shocked to see a Day 2 high risk. I think the next update should be out around 1730z.

Tomorrow looks pretty good there.  I'm never a fan of having the big severe occur so far away from the low center, but winds and instability look rather nice for good severe.

It's going to be the 40-50 kt LLJ that does the damage tomorrow across the Arklatex. Models are in really great agreement on that actually.

At least take him to a better bar. Daisy's is the worst.

Enjoy your backdoor hell day New England and gnash away at the putrid dim overcast.  It looks like NYC and Nassau county on LI got the fake warm front to come just through.  Looks like a fake warm sector with skies rapidly clearing and NW winds.  Most of Suffolk County LI and east of the CT river is screwed today.  It was neat seeing backdoor conditions at 7:30 AM and now fake warm sector conditions at 11:00 AM.  Looks like NYC gets decent today through Monday, and then it sucks like a Hoover Vac from Tuesday through Friday morning. Boston's wx will suck like a "commercial" grade vac as it links the backdoor misery through Monday and meets up with the next sh*tfest of next week.  It looks like late April and early to mid-May will suck like a new vacuum for the first half.  You can't build a snowman in sheet drizzle folks !!  Just be grateful you're not "emo-core" living in New England in spring with backdoor fronts.  They would not make it past the wind-shift and those flags extended and facing southwest during the initial "phase" of the backdoor front.  The stratus scud moving west would seal the deal.
