... you were humping the Euro hard and he just turned out to be a hairy man.

:P I loled at that.

Agree, Saturday isn't looking all that great. I am in charge of the pool at our local club and I was hoping to get the cover off this Saturday, but we need a dry and reasonably warm day so that the pool cover can dry out before stowing it away for the rest of the summer.   Doesn't look like the cover is coming off this weekend.  Fingers crossed for Saturday May 3rd.

The following Saturday isn't looking all that great either on the GFS or the Euro, at hour 240 on the Euro the cut off low is still parked over the lakes.

As far as Saturday goes...

The front moves through sometime in the mid to late morning timeframe.  Should see some precipitation associated with the front but probably nothing in the way of widespread rainfall.  During the day a cold pool moves in aloft, however, the timing of that is not exact.  If the cold pool moves in early enough we will see showers again redevelop during the afternoon hours but again nothing widespread.

Right now the best shot for this seems to be more for areas north of the MA Pike but this could obviously change depending on timing of the cold pool.

There will be a quite a few clouds developing as the day progresses, especially once the sun comes out...quite chilly up near 850mb.  I would think temps on Saturday, down this way at least struggle to get past the upper 50's.

Saturday isn't looking great, verbatim anyway. And it isn't trending the right way.

Still early, but these next 10-14 day overall could be awful

Just took a look at the Euro ensembles, all I can say is "Miserable". The rain doesn't even look all that heavy, just periods of rain rotating around the periphery of the ULL that gets hung up over the lakes with plenty of clouds and drizzle in between.

Nice little cold shot with temps dropping slowly all afternoon up here despite no rain. Down to 45F.

And yeah, Saturday is now pretty crappy on the euro verbatim.

Yeah never made it higher than the mid-40s here today...mostly low 40s and had a very November/October feel with low thick clouds obscuring the higher elevations.
