Recommended Posts

That's going to end soon I bet. Thanks for telling me..gonna have to do that soon.

Yeah.. I just saw it yesterday. You have to turn in your charger with it too. So the cost is you have to get new charger and Otterbox

Edit: here now and charger is included.the store gets a bigger discount from corporate when they have charger to send back

I never did run a marathon, but at my peak ...about 5 years ago, I was running 5 mi/day, five times/week, and did so for two consecutive years without missing...   If you do the arithmetic, that's ~104 marathons in total miles -- I just never put 25 together in a single run.

Nor was there any desire to do so.  I was told by a distance miler that I was actually already completing the 3rd level of training, and to get into the 4th all I needed to do was to instead of running five per day, run 13 twice a week.  Once I could do that with reasonable comfort, I would be ready to go.   Again ... no interest.

In fact, the research I did showed that the human body really doesn't gain much in terms of physical fitness beyond 3.5 mi run four times a week.  Anything beyond that distance is really iron man training and calorie management ... particularly for the longer burns. And for many who are not bio-mechanically designed for running in their native physiology, they can actually do harm to them selves without special training.  All humans are born to run, but none are required to go 26.1 miles -- that act is a human contrivance/contest, but really exceeds evolutionary necessities.  I know all this because I was such an avid runner, and did research that subject matter. I only run 4 mile runs these days.  I try to get out every other day, but it tends to be every two days.  Probably pick up the frequency now with longer days though.

Today it is nearing 70, and I am about to tune up the cycle for a 25 mi season opener ride.  By the end of the summer I should able to do 60 with fair ease.

He's been here since he was 12 I think.

We go to Wellesley every year to mile 14; he was flying through with another guy on his tail, with the main pack a ways's back. Was fun this year, loud and more spectators and runners than usual; it is inspirational seeing a runner with 2 (or even 1) prosthetic running by, really noticed it this year more so than others. If you have never been, it is a fun event to go to at least once; different than anything else you will go to, more of an ongoing party where you connect with the competitors.

Nice dude. Yeah me too. I was in there almost 2 hours transferring pics and vids. But when you walk out with the best phone on the planet with nothing to buy except an Otterbox you feel pretty damn special.

Nice torch today. Hit 67 here

Yeah, iPhone5 has been very good to me.  Sweet deal you guys found.  Otterbox is the way to go, too.  That thing is almost indestructible.

Man what a day...if only we could do this every day.

Highs today up this way:

BTV...72F

MVL...73F

MPV...72F

Even got up to 68F at 1,500ft at the office at the ski area, and the snow melt continues.  Now very patchy at 1,500ft, but there are some spots like this one that are still holding some cover.

The Otterbox is where it's at. Saved my phone countless times.

It's been pretty nice for the last week, 60s are great for just feeling comfortable.

I kind of prefer my LG5 Android to apple products, been Apple all my life but since switching much happier, still have an Ipad but not having to deal with ITunes for ringtones and music has been sweet plus the speed is much greater, screen size is bigger. Does everything my iPhone did plus more.Pretty cool running my smart TV through the phone too.

warranty is awesome, broke my clip, took a picture of it and a new one was sent my way no questions asked, great company

Kid tested, parent approved. I've got 3 broken tablets sitting in my drawer, but my galaxy s4, which has been in a defender since day 1, could easily pass as brand new out of the box.

I've gone to 5.  My dad ran 4 of them.

Meb wins BOS in 2:08. Sick time. USA USA

Heavy, heavy sunburn today at mile 21.

Had a close friend run for a charity this year. First time I've ever really known someone running it. He banged out sub 10 min miles the whole way, and finished right around 4 hours. I'm impressed for his first marathon, but then again I max out somewhere between a 5 and 10k.
