And now is when I go into hiding from stupid thoughts like his. You can fight the battle if you want.

I could tell from your first post today..that you were in a nasty mood. We're having fun.. Lighten up dude. Seriously.Life's too short to be miserable especially during a beautiful mild stretch of wx in the worst month of the year

I'm in a good mood. But, it would be nice to get your facts straight.

I'm using the lawn thread:wx thread post ratio.

Lawns are serious business.

At any rate, I'm starting to have my eye on the possibility of a northerly upslope event next weekend.  Stalled out low is just going to spin and throw moisture back, too bad Stowe is done.  I do realize nobody lives there though.

But Tip already promised snow. At least that's how I read it, but I did get distracted after the first couple sentences.

  " I am still not ready to hang up the possibility for a snow until we get the NAO back on the positive recovery side. "

May have to deal with 12 hours of nasty misery mid week into Thursday morning with that closing low, and backside tug south of sub-540dm thickness air.   There's likely to be upslope snow in NNE faces of the Whites and in Maine.

Then the 00z runs backed away from the possibility of cold coastal for the late mid range/early extended.  However, the deep nadir in the NAO is still quite heavily agreed upon by the GFS ensemble mean, and the synoptic D10 Euro mean does look train wrecky in the NNW Atlantic, too, so the possibility is still quite alive.  Also, the 06z GFS dumps N stream energy into that closing feature, and that drills it to a 526dm core over CNE. ...Just one possibility in many, but verbatim that's likely an impressive elevation blue event.   Should that whole bag of activity happen to pass under our latitude, ...things could get out of hand.

But again ...details details...  Just an impressive NAO phase change with a lingering +PNA is a cornucopia of possibilities any year before May 1st, but particularly when there is a seasonal trend to be cold in our little sector of the N Hemisphere, at least excuse imaginable. In January I'd be giddy for a fun event/time, but ... we have to also consider the ramifications of diabatic heat sourcing and uptake then eventually modulating the pattern overall.  It could wipe much of this out, or even usurp an R-wave length that anti-correlates the signal.   But if anyone is holding out any last fiber of hope that they won't have to wait until ...next November to see another aggregate, this is your best destiny.  We'll see...

I know, I was just being a  :weenie: .

Well I'm hoping it's more continental NW flow, but there are signs of some onshore flow days too.

GFS has been advertising a god-awful ending to April.

He's 38, and today was his PR. That's when I set mine too. I've never heard of the country he was born in. Eritrea? Wtf? At any rate. He's now an American. F the terrorists

I'd like to run one day..but I know it has to be for a charity. I'm not sure of the qualifications though...I think you have to raise at least 5Gs?

I believe it's 2g. Which if you think about it is not much. I would do it next year if a few folks would join with me and had a charity they'd like to do it for. I need to run a 3:10 to qualify at my age and at a PR of 3:38, that's isn't happening. But my dream/goal has always been to run BOS. So I'd love to do it for chairity
