Yeah like I said to Chris earlier...every now and then a blind squirrel finds a nut.

But kudos to the NAM this time. It sniffed this out like 2 days ago when even the Euro was still going like 3-5/4-6 at most.

Also another win for the RGEM...it showed this type of QPF ever since it could see this event (inside of 48 hours) and never waivered one run.

Yeah, The RGEM has been solid most of the winter, The Nam, Scores one every once in a while so its hard to take it seriously but we all still look at it every run..............lol

Man, absolute paint removing sleet fest here right now.  Huge pellets w/ just a few cat paws mixed in.  30.5F  Ping, ping ping off the windows.

Off to bed but will be interesting to see the results in a few hours.  The sleet accumulation will probably have better staying power than if it was snow.  lol

There's a pretty good glaze now...down to 30F and ZR with a few occasional pingers.

There could be some decent glazing in N ORH county...theres still some residual dry dewpoints to tap into in SE NH and into NE MA and the gulf of Maine. That makes the glazing more efficient at temps just under freezing.

AFN over to moderate ZR.

My view as I lay dreaming of an epic powder day, perhaps a foot by morning, pure fluff right now

Man, its just pouring snow there.

Probably getting some nice upslope with this boundary layer flow too there...so it ends up being even better than radar suggests. Like 30 knots from 150 at 900mb right now has got to be close to optimal there I'd think.

HRRR has 12-15 more here, wow.Yea radar missing some. We are at the lowest point of the resort, up top and Jordan Bowl must be getting smoked

32.0 here...no noticeable glazing, but sleet has seemed to stop mixing in atm.

Well take pics when you wake early tomorrow, lol. I'll certainly be interested in how much you get.

Looks like just a walloping for the next 4-6 hours:
