mattlacroix4
Is that measured right on the trail? Groomers can pull snow in from the sides, but windam/raymond trails have maybe 3-12" base on the trail, but I can see a lot of dirt in places. Off trail, it's a different story. I was just surprised to see the groomer since there just wasn't much snow to play with. I went out into my woods and measured all over the place with a metal yardstick yesterday. I live .25 mile from the snowmobile trail. I supposed in exposed, sunny areas it is pretty worn.

Live obs from the outside hot tub tonight.Might roll in the snow do naked angels just from Kev. I'd prob go 6-10 there right now...SR has all the factors going for it in this one. Upslope, elevation, snow growth, nice influx of moisture form atlantic....looks good.
Typhoon Tip
This is weird... moderate pounding sleet here in Ayer, with blue sky patches around the horizons... Spring is like this... You get these dry air mass in place, and then a bit of WAA, and it sleets a 50F -- I've seen this before, although its probably in the low 40s here right now. powderfreak
Massive aggregate flurries mixed with snow grains up here. Our snow is going to come behind the system. I know the focus is for ME/NH in here, but I think the upslope here could surprise tomorrow night. It's almost like two separate events though. powderfreak
Sky is getting that virga-ish look and we are getting occasional flurries and pellets. It must be warm aloft though with mixed crystal and pellet. Looking east at the Worcester Range right now as it gets the milky virga look:
