Baroclinic Zone
Western ridge looked better....trough looked deeper. It's just a little too late. That SPV came south again...it'd be nice if we could get some interaction with that and drop it in to some degree. Yeah, I saw nothing that screamed, oh crap! Just another solution in the myriad of ones we will see. One thing I do like seeing is it bombing out as it passes our latitude. This may be one of those systems that looks like its going to escape east but get captured and tugged west a little bit as the trailing s/w catches up to it. And it doesn't hurt to see that p/v dropping south some too.

SnowGoose69
Sounds more in line with its 12z version yesterday? Definitely sounds better than last night's run. It looks almost the same as last night's run to me, there may have been a noise shift one way or the other but it does not look significantly different on the black and white maps. CT Rain
GGEM has come northwest a bit with that QPF shield. Now the key really today is to get a bump on the ensembles.

SlantStickers Anonymous
For the queens... image.jpg This is one of those situations where my coastal proximity isn't trying to screw me. Made it into .75 Not that I think this'll be the final solution, but already doesn't look bad for eastern zones and if it does come west, well, game on for more widespread fun. CT Rain
pretty sharp cutoff verbatim It will likely be even sharper. The storm will be a powerful monster with a mature CCB. If you're in the CCB you get nailed if you're no then you're probably missing out. It's going to be all or nothing with a very narrow window of "some snow".
