Heisy
Look at the 250 jet @ 153, its like pouring gasoline onto a fire. This thing is going to go ballistic in NE I think.

Surface not all that impressive Edit: 165 is the real deepening, but it's passed everyone by at that time.
Heisy
This was a TREMENDOUS run if you ignore the specifics and focus on the overall picture. GFS is very close to something historic (not to sound weenie-ish).
Bob Chill
Verbatim the ul's kinda suck for our latitude. H5 closes off briefly overhead. Not what we want regardless of the surface. But this run will be long forgotten shortly so it doesn't matter much.
Heisy
Misses them too. Surface not all that impressive Meh, when the N branch phased in it kept too much energy on the initial low. It had issues determining which one to "focus" on...That inverted trough feature of SE PA represents where the main low that was trying to redevelop. This run is awesome in my eyes. Few more steps, faster phase would have been delicious.

Bob Chill
No worries feedback issues. Bobs in I'm only in for a big storm that affects us directly. I've finally reached the point where 2-4/3-5 would be a complete disaster. The ingredients are there for a big one. No doubt about that. We just have no idea if/when/how they will come together. I'm kinda out unless it starts looking like a foot of ice and sleet basketballs and roof collapsing snow and stuff.

Heisy
Don't worry we are used to it I wish my weather vocabulary was better I'd get more credit. Whatever, this run actually phased the two streams @ 138, it just had issues redeveloping the low.

CAPE
Gimmie a foot or I am not interested (okay 10 inches would work) But defo double digits. Losing interest in snow fast, and completey done with run of the mill snow events. Its Spring, and I want spring weather. Of course I have no say in the matter so let it ride. Certainly is a very interesting look per current guidance, esp given it will be late March.

The hype started yesterday...Playing the odds it will be something big...if not they can say how a bullet was dodged..I think we would need to get the northern stream energy to dig further SW...I would be excited if I lived in Cape Cod though
hosj III
18Z GEFS. A few big hits in there. Another thing to look at is the potential for some wintry precipitation Sunday... DGEX has it and some GEFS members do.

You should track it and rush to the point of landfall, along with your most valued possesions, and report back on how that goes.

Random Chaos
Yeah, saw that on GFS. Thinking south more than north (within the mid-atlantic area) with it, but it's still several days out.

Jebman
I just carefully set down about a hundred blue white chips on the blackjack table in the Bob Chill Express mobile casino. I'm about to receive two blackjacks in a row. I know they are about to be dealt. We will all win incredibly BIG, everyone all up and down the East Coast. Stock up on square edged, construction-grade, Jebman-branded snow shovels. If you don't shovel snow, liberate at least five top of the line snow blowers. We will be talking about this winter for a long, long time.
