It looks like the co-op observer in Haywood, in Madison County wins the chicken dinner with the highest snowfall total of 13.7 inches. I live about 3 miles from there and measured 9.5. Elevation is roughly the same. Maybe he just really likes chicken, or maybe he should take a penalty for embellishment.

Awesome! Where are you? I never really got any heavy wind.

I am about a mile from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, not too far from Sandy Point, with a strong NE exposure. Winds were steady 10-15mph on my anemometer throughout the storm (though I do not trust that the anemometer is accurate over about 10mph - it tends to plateau).

Really getting a nice burst right now but it's not having any success fighting the sun poking through the clouds. It is trying to get darker and visibilities are dropping.

too bad you only got 4", could have made a good run at 80"

8.5" on my table on the back deck. (My street however is just about clear.) Great storm. Second or third biggest March snow that I can remember. Superstorm was #1, I don't remember exactly what I got in March 1999, I know accumulations around DC were 8-11" or so, but I was in Takoma Park and the heaviest I believe was just to my south. So this might be #2.

Anyone else notice how behind-schedule the plants are? Even with the recent warmth, no signs of life.

I wonder if it has something to due with the midwinter cold snaps freezing up the ground & the root systems?

I have some buds on my Japanese Maple. But other than that nothing. It is definitely behind schedule this year. What about you guys down in DC any buds on the Cherry trees yet?

Last year was a little behind schedule too....but March was cold so.

My Daffodils are up and almost ready to bloom.  I saw a bunch of newly hatched spiders two days ago as well.

I have a big cherry blossom in my front yard..not much, if any progress.

This time back in 2012, my cherry blossom was past peak, and leaves were coming out everywhere. Crazy swings in climate lately.

It feels like we're on the cusp of a major climate swing of some sort..my great grandmother says it feels like the early 1960s. The AMO flipped shortly after, and DC became a snow town again. :P
