North Balti Zen
Looks like 6 inches. Hard with compaction. What a great event for anytime, much less mid march. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Looks like 8-9 inches here. SCORE

MN Transplant
Measured 9" on my deck. RE: MN Transplant...ratios were definitely better than expected. After ~7pm or so, it was fluffy dendrites the whole time. QPF scored too. All hail king NAM.
snowfan
Incredible, it snowed upside down! Just joking with you...cool pic! I'm not sure why it does that for you guys (shrug). Looks upright on my end. Stupid apple technology.
Scarlet Pimpernel
QPF scored too. All hail king NAM. Yeah, for once the bats*t crazy NAM QPF was pretty much on target. Well, that's not totally fair, it did well Feb. 12-13 this year, and of course the big snows in 2009-10.

CoastalWx
Measured 9" on my deck. RE: MN Transplant...ratios were definitely better than expected. After ~7pm or so, it was fluffy dendrites the whole time. It looks like the lift was probably above 700mb where the DGZ was located. Classic banding there producing good dendrites. Enjoy it! Ratios will never be an issue in those bands.
aldie 22
Wow, indeed! Does that top 2002-03 out that way, or get close? IAD got 50" that year...I wasn't in Leesburg yet so my guess it is real close...stunned

usedtobe
Bad forecast by me. Good job by the NWS. Looks like almost all the snow stuck. So much for relying on MOS. It was good Mar 3rd and bad last night.

Yeah, they say that DCA report is from 2AM, but I thought someone last night said they had right around that amount at midnight? Confusing. Unless it was official at midnight but they reported it out at 2, something like that.
clskinsfan
9.3 on my board and it's still snowing moderately out here. What a great storm. I'm gonna pass 65 inches for the season. Really an epic winter!
dman
28 with about 3.5" on deck, some flat surfaces only about 2.5. Lots of melting early on, so at least 5" must have fallen. NWS forecast late call of 4-8" for here was in range. We just missed some of the good bands or would have had the top end of the forecast.
