87storms
We should have accumulations start on the paved surfaces with this next band. I now have a coating on the brick surfaces on my stoop/porch. yea it's gonna get real pretty soon looking at the radar. dc sandwich special in progress. Deck Pic
Kind of lame here. Just light snow. Heavier stuff just south. Guess the wicked NAM cutoff was right. The short range models push the snow up your way just after midnight and then you should be good for at least a few hours...you aren't going to get shut out....you won't do as well as IAD/JYO, but you knew that.... vern
2"+ on the deck, almost 2" on the grass, and only wet on the sidewalks and roads, yet Fairfax County schools called off tomorrow almost 3 hours ago. Brilliant!
WxUSAF
1.5" or so. Coming down quite hard. Shimmery dendrites. Roads are still just wet even though temps are in the upper 20s.

MDScot
Gaithersburg - solid 2 inches on the deck and grass - roads and sidewalks just wet, not even slushy. Temp is 28 deg, so I assume the roads will catch it sooner or later.
