ravensrule
Very light snow in Towson, just north of the heavy band. Just a dusting on the ground. Yea pretty crappy here as well. Have a dusting on the deck and cars but nothing on the sidewalks or streets. Hopefully heavier rates get here.

BaltimoreWxGuy
In case you guys didnt notice, its 930PM...some didnt even think it was going to snow for another 2 hours or so....Things look on track to me, best pavement accumulation will be 11PM-onward, those surfaces still need time to cool and obviously heavier rates would help A solid coating on everything but pavement in Essex..probably over 0.5"

Scarlet Pimpernel
Snow coming down at a good rate for awhile now in Chevy Chase, with nice sized flakes. Went out to take a few photos. Around an inch at 9PM. Grass covered, snow beginning to stick to pavement (mostly sidewalks, not really in the streets).

Road surfaces in MD look to be below freezing now (per NBC 4's tweet) so we should start to see some paved surface accumulation as the next band gets in here.
