BristowWx
Outright heavy snow, large flakes. Snow is starting to stick to north areas. The only fly in the proverbial ointment is the temp, which is stuck at 34 degrees. We hit 32 its gonna look like mid January out there 32F just arrived at my house...sending him your way
kftc
Well, I'll be dipped in sh*t. I went about my day expecting rain changing to snow and waking up to a sloppy 3 or so inches on non-paved surfaces. I was still putzing around and noticed the horizon disappearing and figured it was raining. Imagine my surprise when I went to close the blinds and saw that IT WAS SNOWING OUT! Hahahaha awesome! And I am one of the COC-eyed Spring wanter to commers.

Ian
Guess MOS wasn't so reliable this go round I think people just selectively read. Raw temps were still too cold from range but I think a middle ground was prob better than one or the other. Like other guidance they tend to close in the short range. MOS often misses on anomalous setups.

I think more that we were cold advecting all day which helped on top of the wet-bulbing in the dry air.

Like other guidance they tend to close in the short range. MOS often misses on anomalous setups. Plus remember GFS was showing upper 30s for highs today in raw form. How'd that work out? CoastalWx
Guess MOS wasn't so reliable this go round Sometimes MOS in anomalous airmasses simply run to warm. They won't handle wetbulbing well enough.
