Sugarloaf1989
The landscape up here at 800' is 90% lifeless right now, very unusual for April 11th. Spring is about 10 days behind here from what is normal.

moneypitmike
I was really surprised to see bare trees all the way down to Philadelphia on Thursday. I did see a tinge of green in the grass yesterday--perhaps in the sun and warmth today it'll spring to life. Perhaps. 38.9/

The other day when we had that rain, the parking lot was like a Stephen King movie...just thousands of earth worms everywhere. I'm not sure..but there were legs, guts, skin all over the road and the smell almost made me throw up. It was all along a very wooded area

moneypitmike
Of frogs? Umm no We must have more woods and wetlands up here--running it like an obstacle course at times. On another note: today should do in the last of the remaining snow/ice on my deck. I had a 6' area that had been holding tough. I managed to break it into pieces yesterday, so I suspect the mid 60's and sun will leave me with a wet (and perhaps dry) deck this afternoon. Professional Lurker
It is beautiful in New York! Not quite sure that's accurate at least how you wrote it. I'm assuming you're talking about the city. Sorry, not possible. Other parts of ny, sure, there is tons of beauty. Nyc, not so much. Of course, I'm sure that the weather was stellar.
