Gonna be riding the line today. Short range models have 3-4" while areas just N get 10". I'm basically in the position Dendrite thought he was going to be in :lol:

...since its an OBS thread...30 with -SN

Man, it can't get any more hideous than that for SNE.  Temp's not really moving yet this morning down here.  So, our cold rain looks in tact.

Forecast soundings don't really have much of a warm nose until this afternoon. So I wonder if this is just a result of some residual above freezing level aloft? Maybe a flip back to snow as stronger lift arrives, followed by a quick transition back to mixed.

looks like it's mixing with snow at home based on cam.

28F with light snow/coating at approx 2200' elev within walking distance of Appalachian Gap, Fayston VT. Started out as a very fine snow but within last 15 minutes (after I took the photo below) the dendrites have gotten a bit larger and intensity has ticked up a notch. No wind. Down the road at the base of Mad River Glen elev 1600' it's 29.1F.
