So I wonder if this is just a result of some residual above freezing level aloft? Maybe a flip back to snow as stronger lift arrives, followed by a quick transition back to mixed.looks like it's mixing with snow at home based on cam. Started out as a very fine snow but within last 15 minutes (after I took the photo below) the dendrites have gotten a bit larger and intensity has ticked up a notch. No wind. Up here in the islands it seems to be having a hard time accumulating even on the untreated stone driveways. The wind is definitely picking up, though.
