Whitelakeroy
6Z NAM was a nice weenie run. Drops 10"+ just south of I-70 throughout IN. Even has several inches up this way. Of course the globals have it further south... this sounds familiar. Well we still need to get one weenie run in there to get all the Detroit people excited. Chicago WX
lol 6z NAM. I'll wait for the "long range" RUC before buying in. 0z Euro ensemble mean spread at 72 hours. Room for a northward adjustment?
Chicago WX
Makes for good TP. But...in fantasy land, would be nice if this happened. IND would set/smash the season snowfall record.

Geos
GFS loosing some of the snow. A DAB for Iowa over into north central IL and a thin stripe from STL towards CVG. http://www.instantweathermaps.com/GFS-php/showmap-conussfc.php?run=2014031412&time=PER&var=ASNOWI&hour=

Harry
Looks like an OV event for sure. 0zNAM_031514.png Amazing how well the models handles these systems that go well to our south and east. Had it been a modeled threat for north of i-70 we would see all kinds of tracks on the models till the last possible second. Sure there has been a couple of exceptions like the one Tim posted but that has been it.

Geos
Looks like the chance of snow is mainly south of here tonight. NE wind flow is acting to dry out the atmosphere if anything.
