Northwest NJ
I usually like to measure snow intensity by visibility but it is a little difficult at night. I am going to estimate moderate-heavy snow falling now.
chietanen
Wow, the 00z Euro absolutely destroys eastern LI and SNE on Tuesday. Let's hope that continues to trend, but it's too little, too late for us as of now. Back on subject, just started to snow here.
HeinzGuy
Wow, the 00z Euro absolutely destroys eastern LI and SNE on Tuesday. Let's hope that continues to trend, but it's too little, too late for us as of now. Back on subject, just started to snow here. Looked like it moved the precip more into a E-W gradient rather than north-south like we saw at 12z. I think its gonna be a really close call for much of Ulster, Kingston could get anything from 0-3" id guess. Dutchess County will probably do a little better. Still no snow here but knocking on the door to the south. Edit...just started snowing with a coating OTG as of 3 15 AM.

Yeah, I think we all knew it was a quick-hitting storm, but it's a little disappointing that I missed an entire nor'easter between my 1 am bedtime and 6 am alarm... hah. Juliancolton
Still seeing light but accumulating snow here, maybe like .5"/hr stuff. I actually don't think radar looks that bad out west for additional accumulations later today...
IrishRob17
My 5.9" was obviously on the snowboard, in the driveway and yard it's around 6.2". I never realized until I started using the board a few years ago how much not having one affected my measurements, in either direction depending on the conditions.
