Juliancolton
lol, the Euro is super wet and warm. Over 3" QPF at KFWN, for instance. Looks to be predominately rain, but that's negotiable.

Something to watch for sure. Odds favor we get some snow out of the system in the interior. Reviewing the main thread, not sure what to expect up in my area. Rain seems confirmed with possible front end thump or back end thump of snow
Juliancolton
One thing to gleam from the 12z Euro ensembles is that the ceiling on potential accumulations is very high if temps can cooperate, and assuming this thing doesn't abort altogether. The Feb 2010 analogy might have merit yet. 15-20 miles east with the r/s line would do nicely!

snywx
Ugh my drive home should be interesting tonight. As for next week odds are we see snow. How much is up in the air but if u live in Nepa, extreme NWNJ & interior SENY I would pay serious attention

HeinzGuy
Euro looked a lot like the RGEM which had the 850 line about from Monticello to Catskill...have to wait for the wunderground maps to come out...I'm not giving up just yet. Itll probably be rain here though.
Juliancolton
In the absence of a mighty summit, you'd probably want to be somewhere around Ricketts Glen State Park in PA for a storm like that which the Euro is drawing up.

HeinzGuy
RGEM only goes out to hr 48. I meant the one on that canadian website that goes out to hour 120...I believe thats the GGEM. Comparing the Euro to last nights it actually looks like its trended warmer on second glance.
snywx
If you are N/NW of the city by at least 50 miles I would not let my guard down on this one. Even with these "crappy" solutions it still gives some of us something. If this gets nudged 50-75 miles or so to the east we are all measuring snow in feet

You want longitude on your side for this one thats for sure
