SEC
Anyone have a snow map for Sullivan County (NY)? I haven't seen any.
chietanen
What I wouldn't give to lock this in... I see no chance of that 10-14" verifying for MBY. My best guess as of now based on trends etc would be 4-8".

Yea but your basing those trends on models that have been inconsistent... Wait till the euro comes out and if that tics a bit to east then I would worry about changing totals

snywx
.36 of rain with just some scattered showers around now...which is about half of what the models had. Edit: My bad my station was a little screwy. .44" fell here

BxEngine
If i zoom in far enough on uptons map, my condo deck looks to get 3" and my parking lot 6". Need to switch that. Lol
snywx
If the UK & Euro hold then 10-14" is a real possibility. If the GFS/NAM have any say then its 4-6" for most in this area. Regardless its gonna be a beautiful day here on Wednesday
Juliancolton
.39" of rain here overnight. At least I have a benchmark for Wednesday's storm! 65.7/

SEC
Thank you hohnywx for posting the Sullivan County map. Is the Binghamton office always "conservative" with their watch/warning statements? Usually the snow maps show more in the way of expected accumulation than is anticipated in their statements.

IsentropicLift
It's going to be quite the meltdown in the main thread if the Euro goes West. The problem is that about 80% of the posters here live on or near the immediate coast.
Guest Patrick
I'm very very confused about what to expect. Half say the storm is west, half are saying best dynamics are east so nobody wins. Anybody have some truth for nwnj? Good to see this thread in mid-season form. Lets see how many ppl we can get posting during the storm!

snywx
I want this thing parked over E LI.. If we can get the 850 Low to pass just SE of NYC then we will be in the money. If I'm not mistaken 850 temps of -5 & 90nmi NW of the 850 low center usually is ground zero for the heaviest snow

WintersGrasp
lol shh.. Thats my specialty.I'm sure you'll all enjoy your 5-10".....kinda pales in comparison to the 50-100" near Buffalo though? Kidding aside.....I hope you guys do very well with this storm !! I'm expecting a couple inches in NE NJ...I feel that could go as high as 5 or as low as a trace. If I had to guess I'd say 1-2 though
