I'm absolutely praying to see a 50 mile shift west

I'm cautiously optimistic. I sure feel like a brat poring over model data while I still have snow in my hair from the current storm.

Cool to see radar echoes continue to back-build over central Dutchess. Looks like a little residual mid-level frontogenesis.

That has to be the most wintry model run I've ever seen. A departing snowstorm at init, followed by the mother of all snowstorms, then two redeveloping clippers on 1/30 and 2/2, then obscenely cold temps at the end of the run.

File that run away in the memory banks.

They're sayig convective feedback on the euro.... I call BS, not cause I want the solution but because all the players for this to happen are there, high pressure driving cold air, today's storm moving in and out faster, and an obvious trend on other models west as well, maybe the euro came TOO far yea but to toss it is redicuals, I rarely hear them say feedback issues especially for the euro

Many of the individuals in its ensemble are left of the mean. Doubt it was convective feedback.
