I can't say that's a terrible thing right now...it was still trying to give us a snowstorm 2 days ago.

This looks like it might be another damned cold storm if it happens.

 

The cold sectors of these storms thus far haven't been paste bombs for sure...they've been like January snowstorms.

Do they do verification scores for each gefs member? I swear i see the same individual members in the 4/5 day range show solutions that eventually dont verify.

Definitely an improvement...still no dice for us though verbatim, but there's still plenty of time as this last storm just showed us. Still would like to see the energy eject a bit more organized. A bit too much burying in the SW going on there, but compared to 00z, certainly about all you can ask for at this stage.

That 3/19-20 system is going to be heavily dependent on how 3/17 goes...a fuller phase on 3/17 is going to make 3/19 more of a snow event and less likely to swing up into the lakes.

Euro ensembles look better than the OP run...a bit north and they bring probably advisory type precip into SNE.
