The pattern wasn;'t favorable the Feb 18-25 time period...that was our milder period....muted torch.

 

 

Its been really since the calendar turned. Its like 2 weeks of bad luck....if you are shocked to see it, then you haven'followed weather very long.

I assume Boston will creep above 1 inch of snow today but NYC is still just 0.1 inches for March...I'm not sure March has ever averaged 5 or more below normal in either city without at least several inches of snow, unlike December or January when you can average well below normal and be shutout in the snow department it seems hard to do that in March.

The run-to-run shift from the 6z to 12z GFS is huge. The ensembles will be telling, of course the 12z foreign suite as well.

WTF s the GFS doing? Now all the energy behind develops another low with that Plains low hot on its heals. Weird.
