poolz1
gfs is rather cold...reminds me of the Euro from 12z yesterday. Sunrise temps on monday...low to mid 20s. You can imagine what a more intense storm could do with an air mass like that.

Heisy
If that bowling ball can figure out how to get up here then we get some fabled +tssn Thats what the GGEM did...IF that can somehow gets itself up here, the cold air is in place, we'd be talking "epic", so close on the GFS

Heisy
GFS actually manages to bring out the energy down south, but way slower than GGEM.
EasternUSWX
Well the potential is there for sure. Rather see an ok solution at this range and trend to better than huge right now and trend worse.
Wonderdog
amazing to watch a minor change from6z at 48 hrs grow into a huge difference by 84. Clearly a very sensitive setup. butterfly effect.

stormtracker
All in all positive changes on the GFS. Naso on the Euro. Two steps forward, one step back. Although I think 12z Euro hooks us up. 0z GGEM from last night is like if Ji programmed it....it's not gonna happen so it should come down to reality. Bob Chill
HM on twitter was also commenting about the dirurnal nature of the Euro with this storm Ever since you pointed it out I've been paying attention. I wish I could go back to the earlier storms and remember the differences. My memory says the times I stayed up I was more often disappointed than thrilled. Except for that one night when the euro dropped like 60' on us before the 2/12-13 storm. heh. That was a late night weenie session.
