Heisy
FWIW, the 00z UKMET looks way better than the GFS. prntscr
Heisy
GGEM through 24 hours has the energy in the Southwest even farther to the west (bodes well)

Heisy
Safe to say the GGEM is nothing like the GFS, idk if its too warm for DC etc...you guys can verify that

yoda
GGEM looks too weird... not buying it. It tries for hours to transfer to the coastal but never fully does.. so it has a coastal low that moves NE slowly and the primary moving east slowly... weird evolution. Basically snows from hr 96 to 138... temp never goes above 32 all day Monday... weird run

Heisy
Every model so far tonight has looked great except for the goofus, Even the uncle looked really good at 72 hours, do we see a EURO coup tonight?
Amped
Not concerned about the weird strung out evolution on the GGEM. Every run, It love us long time!
yoda
I'll take itI am sure we all would take it it just at a quick glance looks really weird. It never completes the transfer so we end up with dual lows that both deepen slowy and bring in lots of moisture. Hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge and expertise than me can explain what the GGEM is doing tonightIts a bit hard to believe we sit around 30 all day Monday with it snowing... and the GGEM has us snowing for about 30 hrs straight. I doubt that happens

Heisy
The EURO was ridiculously close at 72 hours to phasing...if this misses it will burn pretty bad...However, the GGEM scored a coup during the last big event, so maybe it will do so again how to screen capture
Ralph Wiggum
I just don't like the fact the euro took a step to the gfs.

Jebman
tonight is cold. tomorrow will be cold. but spring is in firm control of the mid atlantic we might as well accept it I've been sayin it. I've been sayin it all along. I've been living here for 40 years. The trees and the grass have the final say, and they are saying spring - and a record one at that. severe wx this spring is gonna be a horrific b!tch too. man I am so glad I do NOT live in Kansas or Oklahoma. I forget what year was the last really bad severe weather year - this severe season is gonna make that year look like a gentle spring breeze
SLPressure
The Euro also backed off the crazy low temps for Tuesday morning. Spring is definitely putting up a fight.
