Bob Chill
I'm calling 42 @ 2 am at DCA and 35 by 8am. I would normally agree but it's pretty cold in the mid levels. Like not even close to being worrisome. Maybe Sunday ends up near 50 + cloudy and drop to the upper 30's by 10pm...

Scarlet Pimpernel
Well, this is certainly now looking like a not-so-fantasy possibility with the Euro and GGEM (and the GFS edging their way). If this storm pans out, we should require Highzenberg to change his icon picture to Leprechaun! Heck, maybe we all should...

Scarlet Pimpernel
tuesday morning temps single digits? Is this like a repeat of the storm that i missed in Orlando? There's no way we have single digits Tuesday morning...though that's impressive even for a model to show that in mid-March.
WinterWxLuvr
Long-time reader of this thread, infrequent poster on this thread. Just wanted to say, "Keep up the good work, we are all counting on you." Second this.

mdsnowlover
I'm punting the gfs from my life till it gets on 4dvar...euro/ggem baby. Unless euro dosent have storm GFS won't be updated to 4dvar until it gets a new computer system and that won't be until 2018 !
WxUSAF
euro has me at -15C at 7am Tuesday Models have been good at sniffing out the cold shots this year, but have been consistently too cold at this sort of range. But, if Euro is advertising this, I would say low teens is in the realm of possibility if things shake out that way.
SomeguyfromTakomaPark
euro has me at -15C at 7am Tuesday WOW. The cold keeps impressing me this season. With the last storm the models were pretty good for MBY tempwise. If we are in the teens and snowing in the middle of March I will be really impressed. Joshfsu123
Appreciate all the updates... I don't post much but am reading the updates... definitely appreciative of all the efforts to keep those of us who mainly just read the board informed. Thanks! usedtobe
Yeah, solid 4" with 8:1 ratio prolly. I'd take it in a heartbeat. It's a fun run to look at but lots of heartaches are fostered by day 5 mid march snowstorms.
ravensrule
It's a fun run to look at but lots of heartaches are fostered by day 5 mid march snowstorms. The question is how much snow would it have to show for you to stay up for a 0Z Euro?.
Bob Chill
It's a fun run to look at but lots of heartaches are fostered by day 5 mid march snowstorms. I think deep down even us hopeless weenies kinda expect it. Coming off a such a solid year makes it a fun track regardless of outcome. I'm ready to move on once snow is completely off the table. Doesn't seem to want to happen this year for some reason. Hope you break your personal bass record!
Interstate
The question is how much snow would it have to show for you to stay up for a 0Z Euro?. 10 inches... now that runs are an hour later. and it would have to be 3 days before the storm... Still with 5 days out, I can wait until the morning to read others posts.

Probably 3'+ for wes. double digits and 3 day lead for me. I still wouldn't stay up but I would set the alarm.
