Chicago WX
going to be sweating p-type on this run You're woefully behind. http://www.instantweathermaps.com/NAM-php/showmap-conusncep.php?run=2014031018&var=PCPPRSTMP_850mb&hour=036 Anyways, MKX issuing Watches at 3:30? cyclone77
Would be nice to see one of these amped up NAM runs come to fruition for once. Seemed like it used to happen more often in the past. I will say this, the models resolved the snow cover too far south with the morning runs. Had northern IL in the 30s all day, and obviously that didn't happen. Wondering if that will have any impact at all. Probably not.
Radioman
Moderate snow up to GB this run

Stebo
It has 0.50-1.00" QPF along and north of the SLP track. Yeah I guess it did end up being pretty moist on the cold side of the low.

Chicago WX
Moderate snow up to GB this run More like moderate cirrus. haha, classic stuff...inside 48 hrs and the euro is a wiff south and nam a whiff north I'll delete my account if this run of the 18z NAM comes to fruition. snowstormcanuck
NAM's surface low is going to make a run at CLE, although it'll likely end up passing just south of there. It'll be interesting to see EURO ensembles when they come out. If there's still large spread to the left these amped up solutions may have more merit.
