CoastalWx
You guys know what to do with the NAM. Go eat a double quarter pounder with cheese..wait 30 minutes and then take this NAM run and wipe yourself with it.
Tyngsboro Chowdacane
BOX map seems a tad aggressive Has me in a 6-8" swath totally baffled by the Taunton map. Has me in 4-6. They must like the EURO and think GFS is a tick north. I would be shocked if I got more than an inch or two.

ORH_wxman
NAM isn't too different from the 12z GFS....I'd toss both of them in light of all the foreign guidance.

powderfreak
Jesus H... didn't expect that. I was thinking it would tick south a bit. But still an absolute pummeling. No lack of QPF for us Queens.
Damage In Tolland
Do you know where you live?Right on the south pixel of 2-4. But expecting 1-
codfishsnowman
its like the nam was spying on the 12z gfs and was like....."well ill show him!"
Clinch Leatherwood
I suppose it's possible...but call me skeptical. At least March is finally going to do a little roaring vs the muffled meowing it's ben doing the first 10 days. Raging rainstorm to clean the roads down here. Mountains should all have a big net gain even if they get some mess.

Really? Its the NAM beyond 48h. Never "not expect" anything on that model when it comes to synoptic storms beyond 48h.
TalcottWx
NAM doesn't have much credibility but man, what a toaster of a run that was.
eyewall
I will revise my call to 10-15" for BTV. I am not quite ready to go 14-18" because of my shadowing concerns if we get too easterly on the front end.

Tyngsboro Chowdacane
I cant remember the last time I ever got a decent Backend snowfall recently. I think it was the december '92 storm that had heavy rain most of the day that changed to heavy snow around here. I was just a young buck then. Taunton gave me a little hope. I think it's going to be one of those days watching the rain and then trying to convince myself that I see snow mixing in.

Well, haha, I was thinking logically and figured it would tick closer to the EURO. My first wrong step was thinking logically about the NAM. wxeyeNH
Hope I'm wrong, but I think the gradient is going to set up over my head in NH. Looks like I will catch up to you on snowfall on this one. The 20 miles and 500 foot difference could mean a lot in this one. Still 2 days out. Wonder if it could even ramp up more and drive the warm air north. Finally a great storm for me!
