SnoSki14
You are all just haters lol. Bottom line is we don't often see such dramatic and rapid temperature changes and I wouldn't be surprised if I heard some thunder with that line, looks to be intensifying a bit. Juliancolton
Surface temps crashing, 29.5F and raining lightly. Things are just starting to glaze up, but I only have .31" in the gauge, so there shouldn't be any huge skating rinks on the roads. Will be dangerous in the morning for sure though. BlueSkiesFading
Temps absolutely plummeting here. Was at 50.1 at 10:00PM and I'm now down to 36.7 at 11:00PM and still dropping rapidly. Winds are really starting to kick up out of the NW. Ended up with a very meh 0.20" of rain and naturally all of the precip looks to be done now that temps are approaching the freezing mark. SnoSki14
I had some heavy rains and gusty winds but the temperature change was the big story. Really just plummeted last night into this morning. Only 18F this morning so about a 40-45 degree difference from yesterday.
jm1220
A complete non-event in our area. Which should be no surprise. People expecting snow on NW winds which are downsloping, are almost always going to be disappointed. The best forcing for rain was also well north of us in New England. JFK had 0.15" which is about what was expected.
IsentropicLift
Maybe because I'm more northwest I had a lot more rain. No lightning or wind as the squall line came through, but very heavy rain for about fifteen minutes. Moderate rain for about 45 minutes. Was enough to cause some significant rises on the rivers out here. Then last night after the storm passed overhead the winds really picked up. Very reminiscent of some of our more powerful lows. We even lost power for about 5 minutes. Plus areas in the interior saw some snow/sleet last night. Big temperature drops. Awesome storm, awesome event. Lots of fun tracking. Juliancolton
I ended up with .31" of liquid in the form of rain followed by .2" of sleet. Winds were nice and the temp drop was unique, and I agree that it made for an interesting week of tracking, if nothing else.
