Yeah, that's terrible. And Duke gets the 3 seed in the same region? The Midwest bracket is tough.

Yeah talk about a tough region...Wichita State could potentially face Kentucky in the round of 32.  3 of last year's final four teams are in that region.

Time to focus on my bracket for the billion dollar challenge.  :P

I would have bet a franklin @ less than 1-1 odds on that forecast. MONEY

I'm no better than avg at snow forecasting but my skill prob decreases as I begin to care less this time of year. Still think NWS is too high but could see something in between them and CWG without too much trouble at this pt.

I'm gonna bet on the NWS...they are the underdogs!  Come on Sterling!!

I still have little clue what to expect. This might be one of the hardest storms to forecast since I've been here.

One of the biggest flags (temps) leading in seems to have resolved itself. Even if qpf underperforms we're probably staring at a decent event either way. I personally doubt there will be a large area of 6"+ but I suppose it's possible.

Yeah, having the temps helps a lot though I'm still melting in lulls so there's plenty of warmth left still.  I agree on the 6+. I think 4" will still be a bit of a struggle IMBY.

I was never worried about temps for this one. Cold aloft and very low dew points. Was 39 when it started flaking here, Now 32 and snowing its ass off. We wasted no qpf, unlike the last event with the rain then sleet.

We have been so chilly and have gotten so much snow this winter that at times I felt that I have moved to your snow town, Ginxy. I am absolutely beside myself with joy! I can't believe I got such a sweet snowstorm on my 50th birthday!!!! What's more, I am closing in on 40 inches for the season. My normal climo for the season is about 20 inches.

"Happy birthday brother . Im 51 today. Couldn't ask for a better b- day present."

I'm glad all I have to contend with on MY birthday is rain!  and maybe a thunderstorm.

Glad to hear that otherwise i would have thought you were batsh*t crazy. I hope it works out and you end up getting married.
