Mrs.J
45 and 0.11" of rain. This will wash away all that road salt mix that has been down for the past few months. Still small patches of the last snow fall around but for the most part things are starting to green up.

mattie g
Keeps cutting back on rain totals here. Not unhappy about that. Things are still pretty squishy around here, and we could use a little less rain to help things dry out more quickly next week.

high risk
Looks like today will be dry now? based on the HRRR (and other guidance), this first batch of rain is generally Route 95 and east (a little bit further west than that, but this gives the general idea). Precip out where you are may be light and scattered for much of the day until more organized, heavier rain develops in the late afternoon hours. CAPE
Mild rain > cold rain Cold rain is the worst, most undesirable of all weather events. I've never heard a single weather enthusiast say they are fond of 33 and rain.

wxdude64
NWS Blacksburg has a snow potential map out for tonight into tomorrow morning showing 1-6 elevation dependent LOL I also noticed doing a bit of searching for another post that the April 4-7 timeframe has quite a few more snow events for my area than I thought. CAPE
An inch of rain here so far. Heavy rain last hour or so. Okay, enough. Don't need another inch really.
WVclimo
Windswept drizzle off and on today. Don't see Euro, but GFS/NAM both cranking out heavy totals this weekend. We need the rain, having had just above an inch of liquid total the past 5 weeks here.

Came back over to crofton and it's only 52. Thick fog along the front.
