nj2va
GGEM/RGEM led the way with today's storm. It's probably a good sign right now that its on board.
hosj III
GGEM/RGEM led the way with today's storm. It's probably a good sign right now that its on board. Ggem seems to pick things up first but sucks at actually depicting them.
nj2va
Ggem seems to pick things up first but sucks at actually depicting them. GGEM was first to pick up on the south trend a few days ago when NY was originally the bullseye. GGEM/RGEM last night cut back on snow totals/QPF (along with the Euro). I discounted it but I should have paid attention.
nj2va
FWIW (not much), 21z SREFs SLP spread is west of the mean. 24h precip field shifted south/east.
Amped
SW VA has the best chance, but there are a lot of moving parts, so things can change a lot for better or worse as we move closer in.

yoda
Probably nothing for us, but that was a LARGE shift/change by the 00z NAM from its 18z run. It had nothing at 18z at 84 hrs, and now at 00z at 84 hrs it has a 1004 L off SE NC coast

yoda
Glancing at h5 at 84 cause I am crazy... but it looks like there is some phasing going on with the h5 energy in W NC? Yes? No?
stormtracker
Yep..posted this in the LR thread Not that it matters, but new NAM is MUCH closer to the coast
Amped
Looks Like a typical NAM run. Splits the shortwave into 2 pieces and phases them at the end. Can't get the baroclinic zone up the coast fast enough though. I'd say the NAM is off it's rocker, or on it's rocker since this is what it normally does.
