Heavy snow...poor visibility < 1000ft...can barely see past neighbor's house in back...some flakes the size of silver dollars.  Accum at 1".  Pics below taken 7 minutes apart.

Looks like radar has split the GSO area for now.  Looks like more radar returns should shoot up towards GSO from the SW shortly.  That stuff north of here looks fun, though it appears to be close to shutting off, too.  If the radar returns south of Winston-Salem continue to move northeastward, we might get clocked for a little while.  Reidsville will probably emerge victorious, though.  The incoming band isn't very wide, though, so meh.  I'm glad I got to see some heavy snow fall for a few minutes, in any case.

Haven't seen it snow this hard all winter!

 

Yeah, it was close to what we got on the late afternoon of 2/12 here, though it obviously didn't have the staying power.

 

-SN at the moment.  The streets have melted and are wet again.  That 70-degree high yesterday strikes hard.  They're probably be a skating rink in the morning, though.
